A native of Kathmandu, Nepal, Sweta Lamichhane’s dream is to be the first Nepalese actress to win an Oscar.
Her life has been filled with a multitude of exciting experiences, ranging from college and modeling, to being the first Nepalese United States Marine. All of these experiences have helped her bring depth to her work.
One of Sweta’s most valuable experiences has been studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
The techniques learned at this prestigious school have taught her to be a more focused actor and to dig deep to find emotions that bring truth to the characters she plays.
Having learned to demonstrate her versatility and continuing to develop her craft Sweta is on her way to making history.
